WARWICK SCHOLARSHIPS
AND BURSARIES
APPLICATION FORM 2015-2016
This form should only be used by students who have completed their sixth
form education at an independent school or college in England and who
started their studies in 2012 or 2013.
Warwick Scholarships, a tuition fee waiver of £2,000 a year for each year of your course, will be awarded
to full-time undergraduate students who started their studies in 2012 or 2013 and have family incomes of
up to £25,000 a year. If you meet the income criteria and have received your sixth form education at an
independent school or college in England, you may be eligible for a scholarship as long as your school fees
were paid by a full means tested bursary or a partial bursary which is indicative of an annual family income
below £25,001 a year. Students who receive a Warwick Scholarship will also receive a Warwick Bursary of
£2,500 a year.
If you commenced your undergraduate course in 2012 or 2013 and wish to apply for a Warwick National
Scholarship and Warwick Bursary you should download and complete this form. The information we need
on your current family income will be provided to us by Student Finance England following your
assessment for government student financial support (www.gov.uk/studentfinance).
However, you will need to include with this application form clear and unambiguous evidence to show
that your school fees were met by a bursary awarded on the basis of your family’s financial circumstances.
A letter from your school or college confirming your bursary arrangements will be acceptable as long as the
letter makes clear that the bursary was awarded in recognition of a family income below £25,001 a year.
Where this evidence is not forthcoming, or is contradictory, or is incomplete, no Warwick Scholarship or
Warwick Bursary will be awarded.
