Target
Relevance
Cyclosporin is used to prevent rejection following solid organ and bone marrow transplantation .
It has been estimated that cyclosporine is given to more than 90% of children who have received
a kidney transplant in the United States. In addition, the ability of cyclosporin to inhibit T-cell
activation has been shown to have a role in the treatment of diseases such as nephrotic
syndrome, refractory Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, biliary cirrhosis, aplastic anemia,
rheumatoid arthritis, myasthenia gravis, and dermatomyositis.

ab8312 staining human PBMC, huh-7 cells by
ELISA. Cells were incubated in their
respective growth medium with 10% fetal calf
serum. At the end of the incubation they were
washed with PBS (4°C) and the pellet was
used to determine the CsA content.
1st step: cyclophilin B (ab53870, 1/1500
carbonate pH 8.5) was bound to the plate
