INDA will be announcing the winner of the Lifetime Technical Achievement Award and the
Lifetime Service Award Wednesday afternoon. The Lifetime Technical Achievement Award is
presented to a professional who has a long-established technical career in the nonwovens
industry. This professional will have a long history of technical innovation leading to the
development of Intellectual Property resulting in new products and processes. The Lifetime
Service Award will be presented to a professional who has a long-established record of
service to INDA, specifically, and the nonwoven industry as a whole. This professional will
have held a key role in planning and executing the long term success of at least one of
INDA’s major industry services and is an avid supporter and spokesperson for the industry.

The second
annual RISE
Durable Product
Award™ will be
presented to a durable
product using nonwoven fabric and technology that is
commercially available and utilized in the consumer
or industrial marketplace. Various categories such as
raw materials, roll goods, converting, packaging, active
ingredients, binders, additives and end products will be
considered for nominations. Finalists will present their
innovations to the industry at RISE 2012. The winner
will be selected by RISE attendees and announced the
afternoon of Wednesday, October 24.
TABLE-TOP EVENT/LUNCH/RECEPTION
Create new business opportunities at the RISE 2012 Tabletop Event. This year, the table-top event will be held during
lunch Tuesday as well as the evening reception. Plus, the

Product Award will be presented to a long-life nonwoven product

products. Over 15 products were nominated for this award. RISE
attendees will decide which product is most deserving of the award

InventionHome uses a matchmaking model concept to help inventors find new licensing opportunities.
INDA has teamed with InventionHome to find four inventors within the nonwovens industry and bring
their innovative ideas and business opportunities to RISE attendees.

The InventionHome business model is an effective approach for licensing inventions. “The model is
simple, yet highly effective,” says Russell Williams, InventionHome President. “We have worked with
INDA to identify four inventors with nonwoven products ready to be licensed. These inventors are given
15 minutes to pitch their products to the companies in attendance with the ultimate goal of landing a
licensing or distribution deal.”
