MENDOCINO INSTRUCTIONAL
CENTER
Main parking lot has not been slurry-coated in
23 years, and the lower lot has not been
coated in 9 years. Some areas of the walking
paths were broken when the Art building
renovation/expansion took place. Dips in the
walking paths by the ceramics area are trip
hazards.
The five heaters which service these buildings
are 13 years old and are located on the outside
of the buildings, exposing them to the salt air
of the ocean. They are experiencing severe
rust problems and have been painted several
times within the last 13 years. Energy credit
project.
The 300 Buildings need to be painted. Some
parts of the exterior are metal, and - due to
our close proximity to the ocean - rust is a
huge problem. It has been 7 years since they
have been painted. The FWW buildings
(classrooms, garage, and shed) have not been
painted in 15 years.
