This will be assessed at the end of each module. These assessments will include operations with rational numbers; solving Findings/Results : Placement Retake Results: Math 380 students (301):Using CR math assessment tool 21/30, 25/30, 24/30. All placed into Math 380. One student took the Accuplacer math test and tested into 380. Placement results indicate that the course is achieving it's stated goal of placing students into the appropriate level math course. Survey Results: QUESTION (1) Why did you enroll in this course? (a) to prepare to take the mathematics placement exam (b) to review the material before entering my next registered math course (c) other: Of the eight responses to question (1), five were taking the course to review for the next math course and three were taking it to prepare for the placement test. QUESTION (2) Do you feel better prepared for either the placement exam or your next math course? (a) Yes (b) No Of the eight responses to question (2) all eight responded YES indicating that the course is serving the students as intended. These assessments will include solving linear equations; graphing linear Findings/Results : Placement Retake Results: Math 120 students (302): Of the two students that took the CR placement exam the scores were 24/30 and 23/30 allowing them both to enroll into Math 120. All placed into Transfer Level Math. Placement results indicate that the course is achieving it's stated goal of placing students into the appropriate level math course.
