Members Present: Michelle Haggerty, Steve Jackson, Garth Johnson, Karen Reiss.
Members Absent: Utpal Goswami, Paul Kinsey
Also Present: Connie Carlson, Dave Holper
1. Chair Michelle Haggerty called the meeting to order at 1:48 p.m..
2. Michelle welcomed committee members, and she called for public comments: no
public comments were offered.
3. Approve the February 22nd Meeting Minutes: On motion by Garth Johnson,
seconded by Steve Jackson, the minutes were approved as written.

Action Items
4.1 Review and Make Recommendations on Equivalency to the Minimum
Qualifications Applications:

Vinnie Peloso – English: After reviewing the application, which included
an equivalency argument and statement by the SME, the committee is
returning the paperwork to Mr. Peloso for additional arguments about the
equivalency. Mr. Peloso may resubmit the equivalency paperwork for
review at a later date.

Justine Shaw - History: After reviewing the application, which included an
equivalency argument and statement by the SME, the committee
unanimously agreed that the applicant meets the equivalency to the
minimum qualifications for the discipline.
4.2 Review and Make Recommendations on Minimum Qualifications Applications:
None
5. Announcements/Open Forum: No announcements.

6. Adjournment: On motion by Garth Johnson, seconded by Steve Jackson, the meeting
was adjourned at 2:45 p.m..
