Students will learn how to create, organize, edit and extract data in database files and to link Access data to an Excel worksheet and a Word document. In addition, students will learn how this program interacts with other programs in the Microsoft Office 2000 Professional Edition. DESCRIPTION OF HOW THE COURSE WILL DEAL WITH THE SPECIFIC TOPIC: 1. Microsoft Access will be taught in a lab situation and will cover the following topics: 2. Creating a Database Table 3. Creating Relationships Between Database Tables 4. Creating Forms, Reports, Mailing Labels, and Charts 5. Using Database Wizards and Office Links 6. Performing Queries and Filtering Records 7. Performance Assessments – Core Level Access 8.
