Other: Overall, it has been noted that in the Sciences, the facilities and technology is deficient; maintenance is deficient, staffing and budgets need improving. Deferred maintenance is a problem campus-wide. Entry and exit surveys can increase student success, retention and persistence Basic skills needed for science programs There is a lack of replacement of lost faculty; finding qualified faculty to teach Ongoing challenge that IT doesn’t support Mac Computers; most math and arts us Mac computers Need for the transcript evaluator and document imaging system Question: is there a budget set aside for bulb replacement for projectors, camput-anddistrict-wide? Especially as many projectors are used by various campus groups BSI funds can go to hiring tutoring, some per cent of salaries, equipment for basic skills: as long as the money goes toward basic skills activities.
