New noncredit Certificate of Completion will provide basic skills instruction for community members who need help preparing to take a high school equivalency test. It will meet the life-long learning needs of our community by providing a structured academic pathway for those who need additional preparation and instruction to be successful.

New noncredit certificate will prepare students for transition to college or a new career. It will provide a structured academic pathway for those students those who may have graduated high school but do not fall into the traditional academic paradigm. This sequence of courses will provide instruction in basic skills, work readiness and computer literacy in order to help students meet academic and vocational goals.

Currently, as College of the Redwoods offers more courses online, and as instructors use more online tools in blended learning environments, it is increasingly important that students be able to efficiently communicate and learn using online tools.
