Meeting Minutes
1. Updates
a. 2016-17 budget forecast was discussed
b. Rick Jordan gave an update on class planning for spring
2. Approvals
a. Governance Plan was approved
b. Org Chart update the simple version was approved
3. Reviewed and discussed RAE Plans
a. Annual Plan
i. Currently establishing class sites and interviewing faculty
ii. Moved start date to March
iii. Need marketing when classes are firmly determined
b. Three-Year Plan
4. Data Collection Discussion
a. Reviewed Data Contact for each member
b. Discussed current data needs for each member
c. Reviewed all Members, their Adult Ed funding and data needs
d. DNUSD elected to return MOU funding to RAE and run its program
through RAE
i. RAE approved a DN Coordinator three days a week to implement
RAE classes in DN
ii. Project Lead to follow up with Paperwork to implement this change
5. Planning
a. K-12 Locations – Rick Jordan to update
i. Summer 2016 planning discussions: Bridge to College, GED, etc.
ii. Reviewed additional classes to add
b. Approved part time Coordinator to plan and implement for classes with
Disabilities across the region
c. Approved cost for CISCO router for Old Town location, and monthly T-1
line fee. CR will pay for the T-1 installation.
d. Discussed other local needs
