Filing Petition: Student must file a petition to graduate on or before published deadline.
• For fall consideration, Last Thursday of October

Unit Requirements: A minimum of 60 semester units; however a maximum of 4 units of physical education activity
courses and 9 units of Cooperative Education may be counted toward the degree.
Minimum GPA Requirements: A minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 at College of the Redwoods and a
grade of “C” or higher in each course required for the degree except for unrestricted electives.
Residence Requirement: A student must complete a minimum of 15 semester units and a minimum of 12 of the
required units in the major field of study at College of the Redwoods.
Credit Classes: A maximum of 14 units of pass (P) grades completed at College of the Redwoods will apply towards the
degree, and only the first 14 units of pass grades on the transcript will be used toward the degree.
Course Limitations: Courses numbered from 200 to 399 do not apply toward the A.A./A.S. degree or transfer to four
year colleges and universities.
