Board of Trustees Policy
CATASTROPHIC LEAVE PROGRAM
The Board authorizes implementation of a catastrophic leave program to permit employees of the district to
donate eligible sick leave credits to a leave program for use by an employee when that employee suffers from a
catastrophic illness or injury.
The President/Superintendent Chief Executive Officer shall establish administrative procedures to administer
the program that comply with the requirements established by the Education Code. The administrative
procedures shall assure that the program is administered in a nondiscriminatory way.
