I prepared the course description.
o
Electromechanical Systems (MEIE3181), Sultan Qaboos University.
I prepared the course description.
o
Biomechanics (MEIE5182), Sultan Qaboos University.
I prepared the course description.
Modified course for:
o
Instrumentation & Measurement (MCTE 4155, MEIE4125), Sultan Qaboos University.
I modified the course material with emphasize on hands-on lab work reflecting my industrial
experience in instrumentation and measurement.
o
Mechatronics System Design (MCTE 5255), Sultan Qaboos University.
I modified the course material with rich content reflecting my industrial experience regarding the
design steps starting by the problem statement of the project and up to the fabrication of
prototype. I introduced more labs on PLC, micro-controller and PC controlled systems. I spent
much effort in developing methods and material dealing with the following design issues:
 How to formulate the problem statement and define design constraints
 How to develop conceptual designs and select the best one
 How to develop detailed design satisfying the design constraints
o
Product Design and Development (MEIE3261), Sultan Qaboos University.
The topics of this course reflect so much my experience that has been gained in Fujitsu Ltd. I
introduced new materials to the course on the design and development phases of a product
starting from an idea about a product and customer needs and end up by a final product. The
course is offered to junior students. So it was challenging for the students but was very rewarding
for me to take this challenge and pass my experience to them.

Between 2003 and 2009 I had been conducting research on motion pattern generation and reflex for
humanoid robots, where my focus was on the biologically inspired control methods, using the Recurrent
Neural Network theory, RNN.
Between 1999 and 2003, I had been working as a software and control firmware developer at Fujitsu
Automation Ltd, Japan. The following is the list of the conducted projects:
• Design of servo controller for 1.8 inch Fujitsu Hard Disk Drive.
• Design of repetitive controller for the servo track writer.
• Development of vision software for Hard Disk Drive head alignment for auto bonder
machine.
