Experience: 2 years experience in working in field of Hydrology in Research & Development organizations and/or academic or industrial institutions. Preference will be given to candidates having knowledge of RS & GIS. Doctorate (Ph.D) in Engineering or Sciences or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research experience after M.E./M.Tech. in the field: Water Resources/Hydrology/Agricultu re/Environmental Sciences, Geology or related fields. Rs. 20,000/-p.m. to 40,000/p.m. depending upon educational qualification and experience. Post Graduate (PG) Degree in Basic Sciences (Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Geology, Environmental Sciences, Remote Sensing & GIS) with NET qualification or Graduate Degree in Professional Course (B.E/B.Tech) with GATE qualified in Civil/Hydrology/Water Resources/Hydraulics/Agriculture /Environmental Sciences or related field. Professionals with requisite qualifications and experience as prescribed would be eligible for being engaged as Resource Persons (Junior). 2. Resource Person (Junior) would be engaged for a fixed period for providing high quality services to the Institute or for attending to specific and time-bound jobs. 3. The appointment of Resource Persons (Junior) would be on Full-time basis and they would not be permitted to take up any other assignment during the period of Job. 4. The appointment of Resource Persons (Junior) is of a temporary nature and the appointment can be cancelled at any time by the Institute without assigning any reason. 5. The initial term of appointment and subsequent extension (s) if any, shall be decided on case to case basis depending upon the specific job and the time frame for its completion. 6. Resource Person shall not be entitled to any allowance such as Dearness Allowance, Residential Telephone, Transport Facility, Personal Staff,CGHS/Medical Reimbursement etc. However, they will be entitled for local conveyance as per the rates prescribed above. 7. Resource Person (Junior) may be provided with the transit accommodation as per prevailing rules of the Institute. The applicable licence fee shall be charged and the Resource Persons shall vacate the accommodation on the termination or expiry of the tenure, whichever is earlier. 8. No TA/DA shall be admissible for joining the appointment on contractual basis. Resource Persons (Junior) shall be allowed TA/DA for their travel inside the country in connection with the official work. 9. The selection of candidates will be made through Walk-in-Interview. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidate for attending the interview. 10. Candidates can directly attend the walk-in-interview on 04.01.2016 at 11.00 A.M. at NIH alongwith complete bio-data, passport size photograph and original proof of qualification and experience. General conditions (R.A./JRF): (1) Maximum Age 35 years as on the date of interview. Higher age can be relaxed in case of candidate having exceptional qualifications and experience by the selection committee.
