Experience includes work in several RAND divisions: RAND Health; National Security Research Division;
Arroyo Center; and Justice, Infrastructure, & Environment. Major projects include work on the
COMPARE microsimulation model to study the impact of draft health care reform legislation and the
Affordable Care Act, an assessment of a terrorism risk model for TSA, several analyses of defense budgets,
and a study of Forest Service aircraft acquisition. Project leadership includes two studies of the
macroeconomic impact of the Affordable Care Act on states and assessments of trends in the defense
budget.
