Purpose of research

People expect that universities can play a role in the development of regional economy.

The government, universities and researchers understand what the role of universities is the talent training, industry-university-research cooperation and other factors related to this.

The role of Universities is underestimated

.

It’s necessary to study the relevant circumstances’ development of higher education of UK which developed much earlier and is maturer than the universities of China.

Explicit function means the units of social structure have formal or predictable functions.

Implicit function means the units of social structure also have unpredictable functions.

Implicit function is the key point of sociology study.
