A bill to impeach Senator Chris Jones
Whereas:
Chris Jones was appointed to Senate over the summer for Basic and Applied Science.
Whereas:
Senator Jones has missed three meetings and has provided no excuses for his absence.
Whereas:
The Chairman of the Internal Affairs Committee as well as the Executive Vice President
have contacted him via email and have received no response.
Whereas:
Having members of the Senate that do not come to meetings or complete senate hours is a
detriment to the Senate as a whole.
THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED BY THE 73nd CONGRESS OF THE STUDENT
GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE STATE UNIVERSITY THAT:
Section 1: Senator Jones be impeached and stripped of his title as Senator.
Section 2: Upon passage this will go into effect immediately.
