COURSE DESCRIPTION ENGLISH COURSE DESCRIPTION ARABIC COURSE DESCRIPTION 2 The course covers the concept of archives classification systems, provides an understanding of its principle methods and general theories. It clarifies the relationship between the classification system and the principal of respect for the creation of the document. It differentiates between the classification system and the arrangement, presents the different classification systems with a focus on the advantages and disadvantages of each of them. Then focuses on the classification systems, explaining the steps and the different stages of preparation and how to build it. How to update and amend the classification systems terminology. Finally, the course offers students a practical training to practice what they been taught in lectures. يغطي المقرر مفهوم تصنيف الوثائق ونظرياته ويوضح العالقة بين نظام التصنيف.وتطبيقاته العامة والفرق بين التصنيف وبين،ومبدأ احترام نشأة الوثيقة ويعرض بعد ذلك أنواع الوثائق المتداولة.الترتيب ويركز بعد ذلك على نظام.مبرزا مزاياها وعيوبها التصنيف الرقمي موضحا خطوات إعداده ومراحل ويتيح.بنائه المختلفة وكيفية تحديثه وشروط تعديله .المقرر للطالب فرصة للتدريب العملي 3. COURSE OBJECTIVES - Provide students with knowledge regarding the concept of archives classification systems Clarify the relationship between the classification systems and the principle of respect for the creation of the document Present the different classification systems of archives and highlight their advantages and disadvantages Focus on the digital archives classification system, explain the different steps of its development, updating, and modifications. An "absentee withdrawal notice" will be issued and the student will be deemed to have withdrawn from the course with an 'FW' grade if a student is absent for: • More than 20% in courses with less than 75 total contact hours. • More than 15% in courses with 75 to 150 total contact hours. • More than 10% of total contact hours for courses with more than 150 total contact hours. 4 10.
