1. Upcoming Events
 OSRHE Academic Policy Workshop, June 14, 2012, 1:00-4:30 p.m., BUS 111
 Human Resources Department launch of CU’s first online employment
application system- July 1, 2012. Open training for the Open Hire system- June
11-June 15 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and 2:00-4:00 p.m., BUS 101 computer
lab.
 Sexual Harassment Training- July 18, 2012, 2:00-3:00 p.m., BUS 111. This
applies to ITS, Academic Enrichment, Registrar, Advising Center, and Academic
Affairs. Separate training will be provided for the four Schools, the Duncan
campus, ACE, and the Library.
 New Faculty Orientation, August 6 and 7, 2012, 8:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m., McCasland
Ballroom; lunch will be served in the Buddy Green Room.
 Adjunct Faculty Workshop and Orientation, August 13, 2012 on the Lawton
campus and August 14, 2012 on the Duncan campus. At CU-Duncan, dinner will
start at 6:00 p.m. and the program will start at 6:30 p.m.
2. Endowed Lectureship Reports - Please remind recipients of endowed lectureship funds to
make purchases and submit reimbursement requests before July 1. Those overseeing
summer projects have until August 17, 2012 to do so.
3. Provost will be attending a conference Monday, June 18- Thursday, June 21, 2012.
4. Provost Office Hours for telephone and walk-in visitors – One hour per day subject to
availability starting in July 2012
5. Disciplines to Meet in Fall 2012 for the Course Equivalency Project (CEP) at the
University of Central Oklahoma on September 20, 2012 – The deans have the forms for
submission of names of faculty representatives.








