They may be using SSB reports for several things. Student and IRSS are excited about it and got a few reports done. NOLIJ: Kelly is still testing NOLIJ SASR Sync on test. Some things haven’t been tested and we had to have Nolij create a statement of work to continue this. Banner online app start April 5. AppWorx: nothing new Workflow: HR is doing training this week. Luminis: PIN entries were not created for everybody as we didn’t want to have the historical people in it. However, the trigger to create new PINs is only on insert for the sgbstdn and pebempl tables. It looks like we will have to go ahead and create these records for everyone so that readmits and returning employees Page 2 Topics Cameron University Banner Project Meeting Agenda and Notes May 29, 2016 Discussion, Information Action Taken, Decisions, Recommendations, Time Line a. Financial Aid – how did last week go? can be processed automatically instead of manually. User management will need to start looking at gorpaud to make sure a username has not already been used for employees. Updates to employees are also not going over to give the employee tab. The only trigger to cause an update to the tabs in luminis is on the employee class type in pebempl. That field is not being updated in most instances. A new CU trigger will need to be created that looks at beginning job date instead. Interfaces: Kelly will send information to Chase and Greg to see if they are able to help. 11. Time logs: Please complete time logs up to your go live dates: HR/PY: 1/4/10 Yes, it was communicated. Kelly will do the testing for admissions. Greg put a message on myCU. It went great. Had a lot of tweaking but hope to have everything moved to PROD and be totally live March 15. Financial Aid is on a soft live. Still consider them on schedule. Page 3 Cameron University Banner Project Meeting Agenda and Notes Topics Discussion, Information 12. FI: 1/4/10 AD: 1/18/10 AA: 2/8/10 FA: 2/15/10 ST to include DBA & Sys Admin: 3/1/10 From Dawne: Duane may be doing the student academic history load beginning August 16th. The first day of classes is August 18th. This is during a peak enrollment period. Do you think the system will be adversely affected. We do not want registration to come to a stand-still. The ODS links will be turned off during this data load so student data will not be available via ODS until a full reload is done. This could be a week. Pre-req checking will not work No enrollment stats during load FA needs spring grades rolled so student classifications will be correct for loan processing. They prefer the roll be done asap after grades are posted. They have to wait until spring AH is converted to begin loan certification processing. The latest they can begin loan cert processing is 6/1/10. Summer AH conversion must be done before the first disbursement date for the 2010-11 year which is 8/10/10. The consequence of not having this information in the system is that the majority of students’ aid will not disburse because their grade levels will not be correct. Discussion. 13. Informational: Blackboard ID hardware reached end-of-life. May 29, 2016 Action Taken, Decisions, Recommendations, Time Line How will enrollment stats be captured? When the initial Academic History conversion occurred, actually register hours was converted in for spring 2010 (201020) in order to more accurately classify the student’s grade level. This would allow the FA loan certification records (done in June/July) to create (fairly) accurately. Before fall loans can be disbursed for 20102011 on August 10, 2010, the student’s actual completed hours must be in Banner. The academic history conversion for spring (201020) and summer (201030) would need to be complete preferably by August 2, 2010 to allow time to verify loans against actual grade levels and take action prior to disbursement. FA will need to know when academic history will be available before FA can go-live with Banner in PROD (March 15, 2010), because this impacts the setup dates for loans and setup must be complete before ISIRs are loaded into PROD Grades are due July 29. It will take about a week for AH conversion. Possible scenario: Grades due one day early (Wednesday). Copy sunfire tables needed for extracts and run extracts. Extracts are ready by Thursday morning and AH conversion starts. Probation/Suspension and summer degrees would be dual entered. EC will have to determine if it’s okay to not have enrollment stats for certain dates. After AH, a full ODS data load will have to be done – 20 hours. McArthur would have to approve the early date for grades. Sherry will put in an emergency call to Sungard regarding changing the dates for the Academic history load. Page 4 Topics Cameron University Banner Project Meeting Agenda and Notes Discussion, Information Rick is seeking quotes for replacement of this equipment @ CU & CU-Duncan. 14. Data discussions Sherry 15. There have been several people locking their INB accounts because they logged in through AggieAccess and didn’t notice their password to INB had been set to match the windows password. Julie added verbage on AggieAccess, but there are still calls. 16. This week is Sherry’s last full-time week. She’ll be on call in March for 10 days and after that it will be on an as needed basis. She’ll continue to be the point of contact for Sungard and will slowly start giving things back. Task Lists – start a new tasklist. If any of these need to remain, let Debbie know. Tech Team & ITL Tech Team Continue to update: W:\workgrps\its_share\Banner\BANNER Data handling.docx – OSRHE info needs to be added and which DBs it will be reported from Research best practices for keeping 3rd party software in sync with Banner upgrades and patches May 29, 2016 Action Taken, Decisions, Recommendations, Time Line Discovered that there are about 2000 curriculum records that were not converted correctly. It seemed to be an error that sungard should have caught. Dawne will send info to Sherry and she will discuss this with Mike as we need may need help fixing it. One of the degrees was converted as a concentration instead of degree code. Kelly is looking into how to fix this. Email EDIR type needs to be added and the CELL phone type needs added and data modified accordingly. This will affect Nolij, ODS scripts, the Directory system, and the student accounts/alert extract. Need to evaluate our common matching rules. Financial Aid discovered a student that was matched completely incorrectly during one of their data loads. FA is asking OU and UCO for their rules. Salary Commitment report is going to have to read from both ODS data and IFAS data until June because the historical data was not converted. Chase will remove the prod link on the banner links page and force people to use AggieAccess.
