Cisco is coming in to look at our network and make suggestions. Working on publishing and some of them are working and some of them are not. Working on figuring out the error. Nolij is going to do the online app. Julie will be working more on the general person sync next week. 3. This will be built on as needed and as reports are defined in it. The intranet reports could be put into eprint. Tom has completed all but one or two of the departmental report lists so we should have a good start to begin defining what should be done on ods or eprint or popsel or what. People who don’t have ods licenses but need the reports are the ones that we need to define. Sherry will get the list from Tom and give it to ITS. 4. Rick isn’t able to login to evision. Cheryl is working on recreating the script for the directory interface. The display of what we have in the directory can be seen in luminis. Some of the departments have numbers after the name indicating what budget the person is paid out of. Ninette has indicated this has to stay the same. 9. 10. October 30 and November 6, everything Banner will be down in order to do updates. 11. SunGard wants their functional leads to look at the db on Jan 22. That’s the same thing CU wants to do. If possible we’d like both functional teams to be able to look at it at the same time. We would not be letting regular users on until the following week. We won’t define a date as after functional teams have signed off we will need to run the general person sync. 12. Chase is working Banner into the existing user management system. Maurissa is talking about doing the INB training with new employees and initiating the C3 form from her office. Cameron’s code tree for Banner ($CAMERON_HOME) on dev-db01: Keeping the directory structure similar to that of Banner’s Code tree ($BANNER_HOME) will make the Banner Upgrade process easier. That way if mods are made to existing files in $BANNER_HOME we can identify the mod easily in Cameron's Banner Code tree ($CAMERON_HOME). What about naming of new files? How about keeping this similar to the standard of what we have for IFAS except change the module name so that they match Banners? Ex. rim = student alumni arsys finaid finance general 14. Dawne sent reminder re: SETA membership expiring 11/30/09 and exploring the shared code repository Scott has all the production IFAS servers restored to 8/14/09. Does anyone know of anything that may have been installed since 8/14/09? STU04 and FIN04 have not yet been restored. STU04 has some ODS info on it that Kurt will need to more. There is concern about the luminis load test conflicting with the production conversion. This should be our checklist of things that must be done after the conversion scripts but before we let the users in for testing. Patch management procedures documented and request form. Turnitin requires IE7 or above b. Bb works well w/ IE7 or above c. Bb does not work well with IE6 d. Bb does not work well with Firefox e. Banner requires IE7 f. Firefox 3.5.2 will not work with IE8 g. INB will not work with IE8 Gather Blumen info and contact vendor to populate Blumen DB from Banner. ILT & Tech Debbie One of the respondents to my visually-impaired question said Banner and IE7 had problems working together w/ their software. I will follow-up on this. The listserv said the blumen interface didn’t work. Debbie has a quote. Sherry will forward the email to Debbie and they’ll look into that.
