The ID integration, Early Alert, and Blackboard Connect doesn’t have to be ready until August 2010. Higher One for June 2010. Directory labels need ready in December. Library interface for fac/staff will need ready in January. We need to try to have the Form Fusion changes for the transcript ready by November to ensure that it will answer the retention gpa issue. Intellecheck needs to be ready for January. Nolij transfer needs to get rolling. We may be able to use it for academic history. As soon as Dawne gets back from vacation there needs to be a conference call with her, Julie, and Kelly. So…nothing has to be done for September. For November, it would be nice to have general person ready with Nolij, at least the knowledge that form fusion will address the retention gpa issue, and possibly the ability to print checks. Sherry will let us know when Maurissa has these put on the LMS. Send any additional gaps that need decisions, policy decisions, or services to Sherry. Julie has it working with Banner 8 if you log directly into SSB. Luminis forces you to enter the pin number regardless of what is in the temporary tables. If we do not want faculty to enter the pin, it will require a change to baseline banner. We need an answer from Linda on which gpa is stored – retention or overall. Common Matching. Kelly has this set up in PPRD. Training went well. Greg has an open ticket for why ODS and Cognos is so slow. Hope to include ODS in the November CRP. -Need identified for the CRP training. User management system. Purchasing may need on this list but decisions need made on line item purchasing. Summit Aubree has started with the front line of support. Chase is still working on a few issues. There were a lot of pieces like Clean Address, luminis, ODS, etc that were installed since the last clone and these have to be integrated back in. Users can get in now though. Patch information re: Banner General 8.2 not yet certified for ODS/Luminis Data Standards Manual Sunfire to sunray Tom Sutherlin reported the data standards manual should be released soon. MyCU Access to Student info Currently we have many people on campus who access class and student records and information through myCU. We have secretaries doing registration and with access to all data records on students. Deans and Chairs who do not teach classes have access to all student records as well as all class rosters on campus. People in student services type areas (e.g. student activities, financial aid, student development, and even cashiers) use myCU to pull transcripts, account info, grades, gpa’s and schedules. The way Banner SSB is designed, this is not available. SSB only provides student and class information to people with the faculty role. And faculty only have access to rosters of the classes they are assigned as instructors. We need to evaluate what people use myCU for and whether or not that needs done with access to screens in INB or if they should be assigned the faculty role. Then we have to decide what to do with roster information. Rosters may have to be a report that is run by chairs/deans/secretaries. Then we get into the licensing issue with Cognos and running reports…. How will we deal with the people financial aid wants to have access to SSB? They have requested that the trigger to create pins for anyone entered in RORSTAT be left on. These are potential students who do not have campus email accounts. However luminis is set up for ldap and the change my password is going to be changing the windows password link. Do we direct these potential students to the SSB login page and then they get used to going there for their finaid info? How do they get their account information and what is the default for their account info? Who do they go to when they need help logging in or resetting Finaid recruits in SSB Copy sunfire to ifastest and leave ifas as is so users can do comparisons. Aubree needs to discuss this with Dr. McArthur. We can create luminis accounts instead of the SSB login but we will have to have layouts for recruit designed. This should be discussed by Jamie Glover, Financial Aid, Sherry, Linda, and Julie in a separate meeting. Or do we start assigning email addresses to recruits and applicants so that they are able to login to luminis? Then we need to create a luminis role and tabs for these people. My personal thoughts on this issue is that we wait to turn this trigger on and wait to tackle this in another year. Evaluate our current policy of how these people are dealt with by recruitment and financial aid. Develop new policies that will work with allowing them to login to see their status and possibly develop something with luminis around recruits and admissions. We might also be looking at gmail accounts for these people by that time and aren’t dealing with putting them all in active directory. There are a lot of policy and procedure questions that need answered for this to happen and several people need involved in the discussion. What type of interface, if any, will be between Banner and TMA for buildings and rooms – may need to wait for Dawne to return. Will OSRHE reporting be from Banner? We spent several days brainstorming the content they want on the portal for the different roles. Julie will begin working on getting some of that created. During that meeting Margot and Lisa Wolf volunteered to help with the support calls. We are also going to develop a tab that is meant for help, tutorials, and training. Margot, Lisa, Julie, Greg Davis, and Marissa Beauchald will meet and discuss what are good candidates for this tab. There is still discussion on whether or not it should even be there. We were told faculty wouldn’t click on that tab. HR seemed to want all of their stuff on the employee tab instead. Greg has ldap working with luminis and has created the fac/staff accounts. People can login, but there is nothing to see yet. This week the luminis team will be meeting to discuss policies and procedures for how things are posted to the portal. Two hour training on Friday going over how to assign rooms again. The biggest issue was that they would not be able to use the batch assigning of rooms because it’s done on building attributes rather than people attributes. They’re also not sure how to assess the $5 RHA fee. They will need to decide how to store the mailboxes as well as there is not a field for these in banner. SGHE Actionline Support Nolij Transfer Questionnaire Need to work on a policy for this on who sends the questions in and what should be done before sending a question. Advancement cannot change people in banner until they have certain tables in place so there is a timing issue. In the conference call we need to find out how Nolij will work with the general person sync. Is it done through several extracts or do the users enter individual persons into Nolij? Doreen is looking at the broken graphics issue. We have customized versions from 2003-2007 that need explained as to why these are no longer baseline. Install patches that can be installed prior to CRP starting Sept. 1 – is it possible to hit mid-August? In a conference call with Duane, Dawne discussed Academic Transfer. We had approximately 12,000 transcript entries for January to August last year. This will be a lot of dual entry and much more room for error. Rerolling all academic history would be about 45 hours – possibly less and some of these are already allocated for the supplemental roll. Linda will need to decide and it will be Glen’s final decision. Identify what needs to be setup through FormFusion and Intellecheck Greg & Chase ST ILT & Tech LP, ILT & Tech There are triggers on RORSTAT, SGBSTDN, PEBEMPL, and SIBINST to automatically create PINS anytime someone is entered into these tables. RORSTAT is the financial assistance table when students from tapes are loaded in. Chris will need to talk to Anna about whether this is something CU wants turned on. Currently luminis training has been focused on employee, faculty, and student and it has been said that we are not doing advancement and admissions roles for go live. If we do advancement and admissions, then luminis ldap and roles need to be reevaluated. May 29, 2016 The 8.2 upgrades cannot be installed because ODS will currently only work with 8.1.
