AD-Banner provided a Cognos reporting demo which
appeared to be easy to navigate. Also added additional
members to her team.
DS/R-This team is waiting to meet until the Technical Team
has completed their Discovery session.
HR/Payroll-Discovery Questionnaire was completed and
sent to Banner HR lead. Chairs are planning a conference
call with Banner lead to discuss questionnaire.
FA-Sent Discovery Questionnaire to Banner lead, posted
documents to the w:drive, sent third party software
information to Debbie, Carol is working on A/R information
and gave Banner progress report to all FA staff.
FIN-Will report on progress after Discovery session next
week.
ST-The ST Discovery session is still not confirmed;
therefore, no team meetings have been scheduled at this
time.

A/R-Waiting on gap analysis from Banner. Ninette will post
minutes. Ninette invited Chairs to attend a software demo
from TouchNet on Tuesday, September 26 from 1:30-4:30.
SEVIS documents were received, but have not been
reviewed until further information is clear on what
functionalities Banner offers without this third party
software
Tech-Kick-off and Discovery is being completed today,
September 3 and 4.
Sherry told Chairs that Banner uploaded several documents
to the CU Banner Project website 9-2-08 which include
Implementation Guides, as well as the various Task Logs,
Milestone Certification documents and Test Plans. There are
several other general implementation documents posted to
the "common" area as well.
Sherry will post this information on the website and Chairs
will let staff in their areas know when they should complete
the Basic Banner Navigation training and request access to
Banner. Certificate of completion will be sent to Chairs then
to Sherry to be put in a spreadsheet for tracking.

The Chairs were requested to review the plan through the
next 30-60 days and let Sherry know if there are any
concerns by next Tuesday. This Project Plan also needs to
be discussed and reviewed with your Banner lead.
Debbie has ordered the laptops and sent information to the
Business office for them to order a computer for Kenneth.

 If you want VPN, contact Debbie Goode for
instructions.
 Reminder: Users must have Windows XP on office
desktops and home computer for VPN to work.
Have not received clarification on this requirement
from Glen at the time of this meeting. Continue
documenting time spent on Banner.
Received a list of third party software currently being
used from Technical and FA teams.
September 10 and 17 meeting will be canceled due
to absences and Finance Discovery Session.
Regular meeting will resume Wednesday,
September 24
Last week Debbie asked if Banner hardware needed to
be certified by SGHE and the answer was yes. They
will certify the hardware during Banner’s visit on
September 3-4.
Still in progress: An “Issues in Progress” spreadsheet
will be developed to be used for issues that need to be
escalated to the ILT, CU administration or Banner.
This spreadsheet will be on the Banner Project
website and will start putting issues there after the
Discovery sessions are complete.
Win Organizational and Technical Assessment – This
is a technical assessment that is scheduled for
September 22.
