Student Learning Outcome:
1. Students will be able to apply knowledge
of nutrition science, foodservice
management, food science, community
nutrition, research and education in Nutrition
and Food Science to achieve the foundation
knowledge and skills for entry­level practice
as dietitians, nutritionists, or food
specialists.
Measure 1:
NFS Graduating seniors will average 65% or
higher on the Major Field Test in Nutrition and
Food Science.

Analysis of Results for Measure 2:

Eight of nine students (89%) who
took the national Dietetic Registration
exam passed. Therefore, we
exceeded the goal.
