EDUCATION • Chipman High School graduate - 1965 • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from UNB – 1970 • Various short technical and management courses, the most recent being “Accounting for Non Financial Managers” and “Natural Gas – Wellhead to Burner tip” EMPLOYMENT (1971 to Present with NB Power) 1999 – present • Director of (Power) Marketing, with the newly formed Generation Business Unit, responsible for marketing and sales of electricity to customers outside New Brunswick and electricity purchases from both outside sources and non-utility generation in New Brunswick as well as daily economic dispatch of NB Power’s generation. Responsible for a staff of 6 marketers and analysts. Year 2000 revenue from sales to customers outside New Brunswick exceeds $320 million. 1997-1999 • Director of Bulk Power Marketing, with the Customer Service and Marketing Business Unit, responsible for marketing and sales of electricity to in-province industrial and commercial customers and wholesale electricity sales to, and purchases from, customers and suppliers outside New Brunswick.
