Task/Business Development Lead, Defense and Foreign Affairs, Booz Allen Hamilton, 2002–2007 • Led the contractor effort to define the Navy’s Sea Shaping (i.e., foreign influence) pillar and developed sections of the Navy’s PR07 and POM08 budget submissions on site at the Pentagon. • Managed research, evaluation, and advocacy for the Joint Non-­‐Lethal Weapons Directorate on site at Marine Corps Base Quantico, coauthoring the directorate’s initial investment strategy and red-­‐teaming the work of another consulting firm. • Managed department-­‐wide business development activities, including marketing and capture efforts, and wrote proposals submitted to government and philanthropic entities. Wins in FY07 exceeded $26M. • Founded and managed a communications quality assurance team supporting a 100-­‐person division. • Analyzed federal budget submissions, briefing senior partners on trends and business opportunities.
