Degree Plan: Interdisciplinary Studies – Associate in Science [EO-AS-IDSA] Office of Adult and Continuing Education Catalog Year: 2015-2016 Program Admission Requirements Prospective students are required to submit an application consisting of a title page, a list of all courses/credits previously earned that the student proposes to be applied to the Interdisciplinary Studies degree, and a two-page rationale (essay). The rationale (essay) should contain a clear statement of the student's educational objectives, an explanation of how the selected concentrations are interdisciplinary in nature, what the student expects to be able to do as a result of his/her studies, and a statement explaining why the proposed program is worthy of a college degree. A student may apply for admission to the program during or after the semester in which 12 hours of credit, including transfer and advanced standing, are completed.
