Financial Aid-Be Sure To Apply For Scholarships
If you don’t already have a scholarship from MTSU, you can apply
this fall for a scholarship for next
year. Enrichment Scholarships
are awarded to students with a 3.0
or higher GPA who are not receiving a lottery scholarship. Vision
Scholarships and MT Diversity
Scholarships are awarded to students with a 2.5 GPA who meet
diversity requirements (and financial need requirements for MT Diversity only); priority is given to
students who are not receiving a
lottery scholarship, but lottery recipients may receive a diversity
scholarship if additional funds are
available. To be considered for
any of these awards, you must
submit an online scholarship application by the December 15
deadline, must meet GPA requirements after the Fall 2010 semester,
and must be enrolled in at least 6
hours for the Fall 2010 and Spring
2011 semesters. Online applica-
tions must be submitted through
ScholarX
(https://mtsu.scholarships.ngw
ebsolutions.com) by December
15 for consideration. You can
read more about these scholarships and their requirements at
www.mtsu.edu/scholarships/curre
nt.shtml.
You should talk with your academic department about any
scholarships available to students
in your major. While scholarships for this year have already been awarded, you may
be able to apply for scholarships for the next year. You
can find limited information
about Foundation and Departmental Scholarships online at
www.mtsu.edu/scholarships/
current.shtml; additional information is available through
your academic department or
academic college.
“While scholarships for this
year have already been
awarded, you may be able to
apply for scholarships for the
next year.“

with a common interest
in a particular sport.

available for participation and competition in
a wide range of recreational activities. These opportunities
are available to students and other
members of the campus
community. With competitions occurring
throughout the southeastern region, sports
clubs affiliated with the

program have become
increasingly successful
in regional and national
competition with Wrestling, Paintball, Masters Swim,
Women’s Soccer, Racquetball, and
