Conduct Employee Review and Submit to HR for Approval (Finalizing the Performance Evaluation) 1. Login to MTSU Jobs Online at http://mtsujobs.mtsu.edu/hr and enter username and password. 2. Change user type by clicking on Change User Type at the left of the page under Admin. Select Evaluating Supervisor and then click Change Group. 3. Click on Pending Evaluations under the Evaluation section at the left of the page. 4. Click on View under the position title. 5. Print the evaluation by clicking on the words “Printer Friendly Version” above the Evaluation Status box. Discuss the evaluation with the employee. The employee and supervisor will need to sign the last page. Submit a copy of the signed page only (not the entire performance evaluation) to HRS, attn: Director Employment and Employee Relations to confirm completion of the evaluation. Note: During the evaluation discussion, you may log out of the online application by clicking on Save in the Evaluation Status box and then clicking Continue. Click Confirm. 6. Once discussion with the employee has been completed, return to the evaluation by completing the above steps (steps 1 – 4). 7. Click the word “edit” above the Evaluation Status box. 8. Click on the Supervisor/Manager Discussion tab, the 7th tab from the left. Complete the required fields. Click on Continue to Next Page. If the employee does not have comments, you may proceed to step 10. 9. If the employee has comments, you may attach the comments as well as any other attachments on the Attach Documents page. 10. Click on View Evaluation Summary at the bottom of the page. 11. The evaluation summary will appear. Review the evaluation. Select Send Evaluation to Human Resources for File. Click Continue. Click Confirm. Reminder: Step 5.
