2:47 PM: MTSU ALERT UPDATE: Armed robbery suspects are no longer believed to be in

2:43 PM: Murfreesboro Police issued the following Media Release:
Just before 2pm today officers responded to the Suntrust Bank at 1213 Greenland Drive in
reference to an armed robbery. According to bank employees, a black male 5’8” - 5’10”,
thin build, approx. 30yoa, wearing grey hooded sweatshirt, grey sweatpants, and black
shoes handed a teller a note demanding money. The suspect did not display a weapon
but indicated he had one. A search of the area was conducted but no person matching the
description was located. As a precaution, Reeves Rogers School was placed on a brief
lockdown. The FBI was notified and the MPD will assist in the investigation.
