Honr. Melinda Rigsby
The Honorable Melinda Rigsby is a 1977 graduate of Middle Tennessee State
University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and
her teaching certification. Upon completion of a J.D. at Nashville School of Law in 1995, she began a legal career with the district attorney general in Nashville.
She has worked as an assistant DA since 1995 in Juvenile Court and later in General Sessions. Rigsby was appointed to the bench in 2012 as a Magistrate of the Davidson County Juvenile Court.
