The performance features vocalist Champian Fulton. The Sultans of Swing, David Berger’s 16-piece big band, plays the music of the 1930s and 40s up to 21st century jazz and swing. Berger, the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra conductor from 1988 to 1994, arranger and international expert on Duke Ellington, carries on this rich tradition with the help of vocalist Champian Fulton, a finalist in the 2007 JazzMobile competition. Tickets for The Sultans of Swing are $26, $23 and $20 for adults, $15 for children under 17, and a five percent discount for senior citizens and members of the New Jersey Jazz Society and WBGO Radio.
