Ramapo College Chorale to Perform “Soundscapes: Music of Spain and Latin America”
MAHWAH, N.J. – The Ramapo College Chorale will be performing “Soundscapes: Music of Spain and
Latin America” on Sunday, April 26 at 6 p.m. at Temple Beth Haverim on Ramapo Valley Road, Mahwah.
Prior to the performance, the Friends of Ramapo is holding a “Pre-Concert Supper,” a Spanish-themed
buffet dinner at 3:45 p.m. in the Berrie Center Rehearsal Hall, located on the second floor of the
Angelica and Russ Berrie Center for Performing and Visual Arts.
Directed by Professor Lisa Lutter with pianist Itay Goren, the music program will take you on a journey
from early Spanish music to contemporary classics, including “Grenada,” the Habanera from the opera
“Carmen,” Latin American folk tunes and pop favorites.
Cost for the Supper and Concert is $30. A portion of the proceeds supports Friends of Ramapo
“Scholarship for the Arts” endowment. Advance reservations are required by Friday, April 17. For more
