Incident
Officers responded to a fire alarm. There was no fire.
An employee reported that somebody had attempted
to break into a room by tampering with the room
door.
A student reported leaving his wallet and watch on a
table. The watch was turned in at the UC but the
wallet and contents are still missing.
Officers responded to an alarm at Subway. Subway
had been entered and property was stolen. The
incident is under investigation.
Officers responded to a fire alarm. There was no fire.
An officer issued a warning for a revoked license
plate and seized the tag from the vehicle.
An officer issued a warning for a traffic violation.
Jackson County officers requested WCU officers to
attempt to locate a vehicle on NC 107. The vehicle
was located and the driver was warned not to exceed
the posted speed limit.
Officers stopped a vehicle regarding an expired tag.
One student was issued a state citation for simple
possession of marijuana and possession of drug
paraphernalia.
