DR. PETER P. MERCER, PRESIDENT OF RAMAPO COLLEGE,
HONORED BY MARCH OF DIMES
MAHWAH – Dr. Peter P. Mercer, president of Ramapo College of New Jersey
and a resident of Mahwah, was honored by the March of Times November 14
at the organization’s 26th Annual Harvest Ball.
Dr. Mercer was presented with the Golden Harvest Award for his service to the
community and his commitment to the March of Dimes. He serves as a board member of
several hospitals and has held a number of leadership positions with the Children’s
Hospital of Western Ontario Foundation, including two terms as chair. He also was
recognized for his continued commitment to the March of Dimes through the Harvest
Ball.
More than 300 executives, community leaders and local residents attended the celebration
held at the Woodcliff Lake Hilton. The event raised money for the March of Dimes
mission of promoting healthy babies while preventing premature birth, birth defects and
infant mortality.
