Appropriate for students entering 11th and 12th grades, the program is scheduled July 22 through August 1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. It includes four proctored SATs with detailed computer analysis of the results, 11 practice tests for the SAT and PSAT, extra online lessons, special college admissions seminars, and more. “What makes our summer SAT Prep stand out beyond the excellent preparation provided by the Princeton Review instructors is the college admissions immersion seminars,” said Rosa DiazMulryan, director of youth/pre-college programs and assistant vice president for the Center for Innovative and Professional Learning at the college. “At Ramapo, students hear directly from the college admissions staff on special topics related to applying to college.” In addition to preparing for the SAT, students are presented with college admissions seminars on four afternoons covering topics such as how to write the best college admissions essay, how to decide whether a college is the right fit for you, how to choose a major, and how to apply for scholarships and financial aid. Ramapo College also offers a summer GRE Test Prep through The Princeton Review, and the Kaplan NCLEX-RN Review each May for prospective nurses. Online test preparation for the GRE, GMAT and LSAT is also offered six times during the year. Additional information on Ramapo College test prep programs offered through its Center for Innovative and Professional Learning (CIPL) may be found at www.ramapo.edu/cipl/testprep/index.html or call CIPL at (201) 684-7370. The Center also engages in internal and external educational partnerships to advance the College, and provides innovative continuous learning opportunities for community members of all ages. ### Ranked by U.S. News & World Report as sixth in the Best Regional Universities North category, Ramapo College of New Jersey is sometimes mistaken for a private college. This is, in part, due to its unique interdisciplinary academic structure, its size of approximately 6,008 students and its pastoral setting in the foothills of the Ramapo Mountains on the New Jersey/New York border. Established in 1969, Ramapo College offers bachelor's degrees in the arts, business, humanities, social sciences and the sciences, as well as in professional studies, which include nursing and social work. In addition, Ramapo College offers courses leading to teacher certification at the elementary and secondary levels. The College also offers six graduate programs as well as articulated programs with the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New York Chiropractic College, New York University College of Dentistry, SUNY State College of Optometry and New York College of Podiatric Medicine.
