FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Cynthia Burns: cyburns@ramapo.edu or Cathleen Davey; cdavey@ramapo.edu April 2, 2008 FORMER RAMAPO COLLEGE ATHLETES WILL BE INDUCTED INTO ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME (Mahwah) - Ramapo College of New Jersey will induct six former athletes and the 1986 men’s tennis team into the Athletic Hall of Fame in a ceremony and dinner Saturday, April 26 at the Bill Bradley Sports and Recreation Center on the Ramapo College campus. Among the 2008 inductees will be James Miceli of North Kingstown, Rhode Island, a former football coach; James A. Buntzen ’84 of Wayne, NJ for baseball; John Carroll ’81 of Oakland, NJ for football; Edward V. Chapel ’77 of Westwood, NJ for ice hockey; George Skeens of West Milford, NJ for baseball; Richard M. Myrlak of Rutherford, NJ for his service to sports, and the men’s tennis team of 1986. The Ramapo College Athletic Hall of Fame recognizes and honors those who have made significant contributions to the history of intercollegiate athletic competition at the College. The athletes who are members are selected as the best of all that have participated in varsity athletics at the College. ####
