All required materials must be submitted in advance of the application deadlines. You will receive an acknowledgement that we have received your application. In this letter you will be given your personal identification number. Keep this number secure and handy as you will use it daily during your time at WCU. If your application is accepted, you will receive a formal letter in the mail. Complete and submit the Intent to Enroll Form available at: http://www.wcu.edu/WebFiles/PDFs/Intent_to_Enroll.pdf Complete Your Housing Application STEP 3 STEP 4 STEP 5 STEP 6 Pay your housing deposit and complete the housing contract (housing.wcu.edu) – You will select your meal plan at this time. Your notice of housing assignment will be email to you. Complete and Return Immunization Form Complete the immunization form and submit all records or obtain shots if necessary. Forms are available at studenthealth.wcu.edu. Follow up with Health Services (828-227-7640 or UHSImmunizations@wcu.edu) to confirm eligibility for registration. Log Into Your Student Services and Information Portal – “My Cat” (if you have difficulty logging in please contact the IT Help Desk at 866-928-7487). Access to your university email account. Register your vehicle with the university. Make tuition payments. View academic information. Review and update personal information. Register for Classes Review available summer course offerings located on the WCU web site or in My Cat. Registration dates will be posted on the Registrar’s Office Website at registrar.wcu.edu. Select and enter the course information by following the instructions posted at this website: http://www.wcu.edu/registrar/pdf/how_to_register_for_a_class.pdf Non-degree seeking students are limited to 18 semester hours of coursework. Contact the Registrar’s office for assistance 828-227-7216 Pay Your Tuition Check payment options and due dates. You will receive an email when your bill is posted to your account. Pay online or pay in person at the OneStop Student Service Center (check or cash only). STEPS 7-8 Continue on the next page STEP 7 STEP 8 Prepare for Classes Submit photo for student ID “CatCard” to catcard@email.wcu.edu. Please include full name and student 920# or get your photo taken at OneStop Student Service Center. Pick up rental books (book rental is included in your tuition). Once you have a summer schedule you can visit the bookstore to pick up your required books. Pick up parking permit at OneStop (you must have completed vehicle registration [step 4] prior to obtaining your parking permit). Go to Class! You are expected to attend all your classes. Your seat may be given to another student if you do not attend your courses. If you do not attend or stop attending without formally dropping before the drop deadline, you will receive a grade of F and you may be responsible for tuition and fees.
