我选择普及湾大学的原因有很多：它在本地学生中有不错的声誉，
提供面向所有学生的奖学金机会，自由而不散漫的学术环境， 以
及友好开放的人文氛围。
普及湾大学是一个饱含善意的学校，在校园的每一个角落，都可以
收获问候的笑容，找到乐于帮助你的教授、同学。不同的国籍和语
言并不会阻碍友谊的产生：我在新生营地活动里交到了我的第一批
本地朋友，直到现在，我们仍然互相帮助，时常聚会。学校的中文
系常常举办各类中国节日庆祝活动，更有很棒的中文教授时常关怀
我的生活。
在确定来普及湾之前，我也有别的很多选择。我庆幸我选择了最适
合我的一个。
There are many reasons why I chose University of Puget Sound:
high reputation among students, scholarship opportunities, good
learning environment, and a friendly and diverse community. I had
a great time with my orientation group; I love my teammates and
leaders, and we are still excited to meet each other on campus.
Different nationality and language are not barriers for friendship.
And whenever I get a problem, there will always be a lot of people
trying to help. I feel really good about that and want to help others
as well. I enjoy working on campus as a peer tutor, and appreciate
our awesome Chinese professors and others who care about
Chinese culture.
I fell in love with the university, and I have found Puget Sound
a place which fits me well.
