The Outstanding Senior in Journalism is Elyse Toribio.
Elyse is a multimedia journalist who already has an impressive
portfolio of news and feature stories for print, radio and the Web.
Her news stories won her a spot in the prestigious New York
Times student journalist institute held in Arizona in January this
year, and she was selected as one of twelve journalism students
nationwide to participate in the National Association of Hispanic
Journalists' student media project last year. Elyse has interned as
a Web producer for The Bergen Record and is completing a stint
at CBS Radio. This academic year, she has served as the news
editor and editor in chief of the Ramapo News.
