Ja Yeon (Jane) Lee
OUTSTANDING INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS STUDENT
Our outstanding student in International Business for this year is (Ja Yeon ) Jane Lee.
As an international business major, Jane is completing a double concentration in East
Asian Studies and Marketing. In addition to being a member of several honor societies
and maintaining an extraordinary academic record, Jane has found time to complete two
challenging internship assignments.
It has been my observation that whenever Jane approaches a new activity, she does so
with an amazing amount of energy ant intensity. As but one example, Jane currently
serves as the President of the Ramapo College SIFE Team. SIFE stands for Students in
Free Enterprise. It is an international organization through which business students apply
the skills they are learning to address pressing social issues. Each year SIFE Teams from
around the world compete in a completion based upon their accomplishments. Under
Jane’s able leadership, our team has won the North East Regional competition and will
now advance to the national competition in Minneapolis in June.
Jane’s goal after graduation is to work for a multinational corporation. I’m sure she will
be leading one before too long.
