My primary research interests include dental anthropology, biological distance analysis, population movement and interaction, paleopathology and physiology, mortuary practices, social memory and landscape, culturally modified human bone, and social and skeletal indicators of violence. My dissertation examined dental metrics and discrete traits as a proxy for population genetics in investigations of migration within and between indigenous Americans in the North American Midwest.
