Achieving P6 credit with the same course that fulfills our MFL requirement will require ONE more elective course than this table shows.
Upper level perspectives may NOT be courses in English. There are no exceptions.
3
Some summer courses may meet these requirements, but summer course offerings are decided on a year-to-year basis based on staffing options and
funding. Possibilities (no guarantees) include literature and film electives.
4
This eighteen-hour semester is a suggestion, not a requirement, in order to allow for a twelve-hour semester during the Internship I, while still
fulfilling 120 hours, it is ideal for Internship I to be taken with as few additional hours as possible, and all coursework must be completed before
Internship II.
5
This third literature (or film, or writing—see checksheet) elective is to satisfy the coordinating major in English Studies Pedagogy, the usual
coordinating major concentration for the B.S.Ed.. If the candidate has a different coordinating major, this will change.
