Yes, it’s February (already?)… how’s the semester going so far? As you approach the midway
point of the semester, you know the deal… there’ll be midterms and registration for the Fall
semester to contend with. Not to mention that, as a sophomore or junior, you’re one step
closer to graduation! What does the future hold for you? Careers? Graduate school? Even
before you get there, wouldn’t you like to maximize your experience here at WCU by studying
abroad?
Whatever your situation may be, you can explore all of this (and more!) at the EXTREMES Fair!
It’s happening this Wednesday, starting at noon in the UC Grandroom. Remember our theme
for this year: Celebrate Your Major! If you’ve declared one, be proud of it by dressing up for it
and win a free t-shirt! If not, don’t worry… academic departments and career services will be on
hand during the fair to help you match a major to your interests. Here’s another opportunity to
snag a shirt: come to the noon information fair, and the afternoon breakout sessions to get
one! You’ll find a schedule on the last page of this newsletter. Make sure to follow the hashtag
#EXTREMESFair on twitter for event updates, and to learn how you can win other cool prizes!
We’ve highlighted the departments that’ll be there in this newsletter. Start thinking about how
you’re going to dress up. See you on Wednesday for the EXTREMES fair!
