Compensation and Classification Advisory Committee The Compensation and Classification Advisory Committee (CCAC) is charged by the Assistant Vice Chancellor of Human Resources (AVC HR) to provide advice regarding UCSD compensation philosophy and policy, long-term strategic compensation planning, salary structures, and related compensation issues. The committee is also charged with advising the AVC HR on the appropriate classification of MSP (Management and Senior Professional) positions, based upon an initial analysis of the positions by a Compensation Analyst. The AVC HR approves MSP classifications under delegated authority from the Chancellor.
