Signature Piece Assessment Description
ELED 340
The signature piece is an electronic portfolio that includes the following:
 A literary elements lesson plan in ULM lesson plan format, audiotape of instructional
delivery of the lesson delivered in the field experience classroom, and self-reflection
from the Teaching Portfolio to submit on Task Stream
 Literary elements Read Aloud Report, including the digital recording of read aloud
delivered in field experience classroom
 Author study essay
 DIBELS report and prescribed interventions in ULM lesson plan format
 Reading Block 1 Dispositions to TaskStream
Components of the signature piece reflect the theory and practice designed to facilitate and
manage learning and the overall classroom performance of prospective teachers and their
primary grade students.
