Exams: There will be three midterm exams and a nal exam. The tentative exam
schedule is as follows:
Exam 1: Thursday, September 22
Exam 2: Thursday, October 20
Exam 3: Thursday, November 17
Final
(comprehensive): Tuesday, December 13, 6:00-8:00 pm
There will be no make-ups for any of the exams. The only exception to this rule is a
medical emergency, together with written evidence of such an emergency.
Homework: Homework will be assigned after each class and collected on Tuesday.
Doing the homework is absolutely essential to understand the course material. No
late homework will be accepted.
