LIVE YOUR COURSES
All of the courses (listed below) include a wide
range of experiential learning opportunities such
as frequent excursions to temples, markets,
urban and rural development projects, and
cultural sites.
• Indian Life and Culture (INTD 302)
• Sustainable Development in India (INTD 301)
• Social Movements and Media in South India
(INTD 303)
• Field Study Project (INTD 409)
ACCOMMODATIONS & ACTIVITIES
• Live in modern facilities in a beautiful grove of
exotic trees and flowers on a hill that slopes
down to a lake.
• Experience the Fireflies campus, which
includes meditation centers, walking paths,
wireless internet service, a library, and several
dining pavillions.
• Enjoy leisure activities such as pottery, carom
board, swimming, and exploring sites in and
around Bangalore.
• Comprising 1/3 of the semester, students take
field excursions to development projects
promoting women’s literacy and ecological
sustainability, tribal villages, ancient temples
and palaces.
