It incorporates feedback on last year’s form and is a further step towards streamlining and institutionalizing the process for study abroad program development, creating a system that encourages greater collaboration between proposing faculty, academic units, and the study abroad team. The hope is that with such foresight, we shall avoid issues of under-enrollment and last minute planning, amongst other challenges. In addition, this system provides for the monitoring and evaluation of programs to ensure we are maximizing resources and student learning, while providing a safe and healthy program. The Registrar's Office has reviewed this document to ensure deadlines are appropriate to registration and catalog preparation. Additionally, the Academic Review Committee (ARC) has reviewed the documents and is supportive. The Study Abroad Committee has reviewed the documents and provided appropriate revisions. Finally, Provost Barnett has conducted a review of the document to ensure policy consistency and overall approval. This tool is meant to provide the Study Abroad Team with the necessary information to perform relevant tasks of program development, recruitment, marketing, and student advising. Academic content will continue to be approved by ARC. Policies *All Academic and Personnel policies apply to study abroad programs. Faculty & Staff 1.
