Muscular Dystrophy Scholarship for Neuromuscular MSc programme 2016-17 Muscular Dystrophy UK a charity organization for patients with neuromuscular disorders and professionals who care for patients with various neuromuscular disorders. The charity has a positive impact on patient experience, promotes and funds research and advocates better patient care. As part of their commitment to better patient care and provide improved therapeutic interventions to patients with neuromuscular conditions, the charity set up a Scholarship fund to sponsor the full tuition fees of one student on the Neuromuscular MSc course at UCL. The fee for this course is £10.130 for the 2016/17 academic year. Eligibility: Home/ EU student applicants, successful applying to attend the Neuromuscular MSc/MRes course (accepted applicants) are eligible. Criteria for decision: 1. Academic achievement of applicant in previous studies (as an undergraduate) 2. Commitment to build a career in the field of Neuromuscular Diseases and the potential of the applicant to make an impact in the field of Neuromuscular Disease (as evidenced by a one page motivation letter submitted by applicants as their application) 3. Commitment to conduct a research project in muscle wasting diseases which are covered by Muscular Dystrophy UK.
